Providing Financial Assistance to Pi Phis in Need.
Originally established at the 1946 Swampscott Convention to honor Grand President Emerita Emma Harper Turner (1864–1944), the Emma Harper Turner Fund was transferred to the Foundation in 1995 and today grants more than $100,000 annually in support of collegiate and alumna members in need.
The Emma Harper Turner Fund program grants financial assistance on a confidential basis to alumnae and collegians in dire financial need. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Foundation Board of Trustees voted to add disaster relief measures to the EHT Fund program to ease the application process for members residing in Presidentially-declared disaster areas.
If you know of a Pi Beta Phi sister in need of financial assistance, please click here for information on the application process. All applications are held in stricted confidence.
